Just a couple more days...

So I'm getting pretty close to the end of the Master Cleanse.  Monday is officially Day 10 and my last day.  Starting Tuesday I can add juice and maybe have a soup for dinner.  Wednesday I can have salad for lunch, and by Thursday, I should be able to pretty much eat whatever I want (within reason -- I don't think I'll be going out for a sausage calzone ;) )

I've lost about 15 lbs. It's a noticeable amount for me.  All my clothes fit differently.  I need to lose about 9 more pounds to reach the goal I set about a month ago, but I certainly don't have to do that by Monday.  The cleanse has been a great springboard in to better eating habits and I hope to continue them.

It will be nice to chew food again.  I miss all the various flavors and textures of food, so it will be very nice to enjoy these things again!

I'm now slightly tempted to just send you lots of pictures of delicious food items to be a pest...but I won't. :)

You'll get through the last of it. I have faith! And when did you have 24 pounds to lose? You're skinny as it is! :)

ha! thanks. :) well, i did put on some weight over the winter. i think it's the body's natural response to the frigid temperatures :) that., and one of the only things to do during the winter is to stay inside and eat.. and sleep.. definitely not a conducive lifestyle to staying thin.

Chicago's a bit like NYC, though, that if you choose to, you're forced to walk a lot, so when it's warm, you're getting exercise just by doing things, which is nice.
